Over twenty years ago, one of our founders signed up for a high school vocational class building homes in his west central Iowa community. This sparked his passion for building and laid the groundwork for JRL Builders.

Lindsay handles all of the design work for JRL. She is an expert at guiding our homeowners through the build process, bringing your visions to life with ease. Lindsay previously owned LT Design Co where she developed a relaxed, yet refined, approach to the custom build experience. Her goal is to make the process fun and enjoyable for you!
Favorite part of the process: Forming lasting relationships with customers and guiding them through the creation of beautiful and inviting spaces where they will make many memories.

Jenna does all of the behind the scenes work to make sure your dream home comes to life seamlessly and within budget. She spent over 10 years in corporate accounting so no detail escapes her.
Favorite part of the process: Seeing the design, décor, and trim details of the project emerge because that's where you can really start to see our customer's personality shine through in the home.

Shawn oversees your home from start to finish, ensuring every step is properly completed and up to JRL Builders standards. He brings over 20 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent to our team and a deep passion for construction (shoutout to a great construction tech teacher!). His experience in the field and commitment to quality allow us to complete jobs on schedule and to the highest standards in the area.
